Mgr. Pavel Král
- Pavel graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno in 2007. After completing his legal traineeship and passing the bar exam in 2011, he spent almost fifteen years in public service before returning to private legal practice;
- He has extensive experience both in advocacy and in senior positions within public administration, particularly in regulatory and supervisory authorities. He served as Head of the Legal Department at the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB) and previously as Head of the Second-Instance Decision-Making Department for Public Procurement at the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS). Over the long term, he also took part in the decision-making activities of both institutions as chairman and member of appeal committees. In addition, he acted as Data Protection Officer (DPO) and as the designated officer for reporting unlawful conduct (whistleblowing);
- In his practice, he focuses on public procurement, ICT law and cybersecurity, as well as on the legal aspects of digitalisation in public administration, cloud computing and GDPR. For him, law and technology are not separate fields but two perspectives on a single whole. He combines an understanding of technology, technical solutions and modern IT principles with a legal perspective on their impact in the areas of public investment, digitalisation and information system security;
- At MT Legal Pavel specializes in public procurement, ICT law and cybersecurity;
- Pavel speaks English, is learning German and holds professional certifications in FIDIC, PRINCE2 and COBIT 2019;
- In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors, cycling, swimming or spending time in the mountains.
