MT Legal s.r.o., law firm

The law firm of MT Legal s.r.o. provides comprehensive legal services in the areas of public procurement, ICT, commerce, civil law, administrative law, energy law, mining law, environmental law, medical law, water management, law of forestry, employment, EU law and international law.

Most importantly, we focus on public investments with the specialisation in public procurement law, concessions, PPP projects, state aid and EU funds. The services in the field of public investments are rendered along with the services in the area of intellectual property law with a special focus on IT/ICT law, construction law, law related to the water management infrastructure, corporate law and law of obligations, civil law, employment law and EU law. In respect of public law, we mainly concentrate on representing clients in courts and administrative proceedings and on counselling regarding international law (international arbitration).

We exploit the extensive expertise of individual members of our legal team, which presently consists of more than 20 qualified legal professionals. With regard to clients´ demand for the provision of comprehensive solutions, we have been engaged in long-term cooperations with several external consultants and experts in economy and taxes, IT/ICT, energy and EU funding. As a result, the office is capable of rendering fully qualified services based on each client's specific needs. A practical example is the strategic alliance created by MT Legal and SEVEn (the Centre for Effective Use of Energy), with the aim of providing comprehensive and professional services through the implementation of EPC projects - energy services with contract-guaranteed savings (e.g. achieving energy and financial savings with no need for direct investments from a client).

Our experts regularly publish in professional media and hold lectures and seminars at professional conferences, focused, in particular, on public contracts, PPP projects, IT/ICT legal issues, water management, EPC issues, etc.

MT Legal was founded in September 2008 and has been built upon the years of legal experience of its four partners - Tomáš Machurek, Milan Šebesta, David Dvořák and Petr Novotný.

Our services are currently available to clients throughout the Czech Republic through our offices in Prague, Brno and Ostrava. Owing to our cooperation with foreign partners, we also provide legal advice in other EU member states as well as outside the EU.

MT Legal is a member of the Association for Public Contracts, the Czech Infrastructure Association(formerly the PPP Association), Association of Providers of Energy Services of the Czech Republic (APES), Czech Construction Law Society and Mining Union.
